Rowell Ranch Rodeo Parade and Festival

The Rowell Ranch Pro Rodeo is a longstanding community event that brings friends and neighbors together to celebrate the region’s ranching, equestrian, and cultural heritage. The celebration includes a week of activities leading up to rodeo weekend that will start with the Saturday Rodeo Parade. The parade, now under the direction of the Rowell Ranch Rodeo committee, has been expanded this year to include a later start time accompanied by a music and food festival.

Castro Valley Boulevard will be shut down to accommodate the festivities that will extend into the evening. Look for festival details and parade entry forms HERE.

We’ve asked Mel Speed, who directs the popular light parade, to help us coordinate our parade this year hoping to learn from the success of other community events, and expand the opportunities for guests to enjoy the excitement that will continue to build leading up to rodeo weekend.
