2nd Annual Castro Valley History Festival And Pro Rodeo Parade

Celebrating the history of our great Castro Valley community!

On behalf of the Rowell Ranch Rodeo Committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the Castro Valley History Festival and Pro Rodeo Parade! Castro Valley will be celebrating our history with street vendors, displays and educational events to highlight Castro Valley’s history. Come learn about traditions, customs, art and food that helped to shape our community.

As many of you may know, one of the longest running traditions in Castro Valley has been the Rowell Ranch Pro Rodeo and Parade. It has been a tradition in our community for over 100 years! So, as a centerpiece to our event, we will celebrate the return of the Rowell Ranch Pro Rodeo Parade again to the streets of Castro Valley.

The registration app is up and running, and it is as simple as clicking on the QR code attached to reserve your entry in this year’s parade. The theme will be “Castro Valley History”.

We are inviting all the schools in Castro Valley to enter this year, and we have a special program just for the schools!

We are excited to announce that each school will have the opportunity to win a $500.00 Gift Card for the “Best Parade CV History Theme Entry” and an additional $500.00 Award Gift Card for the school with the best Castro Valley History Festival Booth!
